Location : Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh, India

Located on the right of Lohit river, while going towards Kibithu, Dong is a small but beautiful village of Meyor communities. Surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains and picturesque pine forests, the village welcomes earliest sunrise in in the country.
Dong lies at the junction of the Lohit river and the Sati (or Sai Ti) stream. The Dong valley is unspoiled and has great natural beauty. The village, with just 8 households, can be reached on foot from the opposite side of rive Lohit in a 90 minutes climb.
Situated at a distance of 7 KM from Walong, it is connected by a nice foot suspension bridge over the Lohit.
Dong Valley is the place where the first sunrise of the country can be witnessed. It is located on the tri-junction of India, China and Myanmar.
